‘Everything costs alot on the Internet’ – Really?

27 05 2008

Ok I started off as a newbie some years on the internet, much like anyone’s first time. I was amazed at the price quotes I used to see everywhere.

Domains – $6.99 Paypal, Hosting – $47/6 Months, Download Full Version of this Software for $80.00

‘I could never afford that’! But then I found alot of things that I would like to share with you guys that proved helpful.

Post 2 Host Forums – They give you Hosting just for posting in their forums. The packages aren’t too nice, but you they prove reliable and ADs free in most cases unlike Freebies.

Namepros.com and DDboard.com – Both are your gateway to free domains. As in actual domains .com, .net or anything at all. Just gather up the required points by posting or doing incentives, exchange the points with admin and Wola, you got yourself a .com.

Adsense – Now its money making time to pay for your future needs. Simply install the script on your webpage (for that you’ll have to sign-up at Google Adsense First). Then make the people to visit your site and click on the Ads, the more clicks you get the better are your earnings.

Further there are also forums like Get Paid to Forums, and Paid to View/Click Sites, which you might want to check out yourself. Simply search at Google, but most of them are scams. That is why I don’t really trust this method. So if you choose to earn something this way, I’ll recommend that you run a search on people’s comments about the site before signing up, otherwise you’ll just be ruining your valuable time.

There you go, you not only own yourself a free web page with a decent hosting but also a source of income to keep up with it.

- In my next post I’ll be talking about some technical ways of earning money online like freelancing.

I agree with this %100. When I first started out I thought the same thing, everything seems SO expensive online. But then through out the years you realize not only are things not as expensive as you originally thought but that with everything else in life.. everyone charges a different amount. And if you just take the time to look around a bit, and search on forums, in market places online, and on groups relevant to what your looking for, eventually youll find a price that doesnt seem expensive anymore.

Agreed that you need to pay to design a website. However if your serious about your business and wants to get it in the open world you have to empty your pockets.
