Best ways to get referrals Online – 5 Easy Ways

24 05 2008

Ever been wondering how many webmasters are always to bring referrals out of nowhere, while you can’t even convince 2 members to join up?

You are not alone. Alot of people are not able to cope up to referral contests, while others run a mere simple procedure. Some of them are.

1. Ask your friends to join up. Believe me, a simple mail to a friend who knows you well, will get your referral count to increase. However there are some problems that I have seen users face such as, referrals don’t complete the offers, or donot understand things. Well for that I recommend that you clear it to them what exactly are they suppose to do to help you.

2. Write on Forums. Forums that have points systems or currencies, can help alot with this regard. People would click or do anything at all, for getting points in their account.

3. Use interactive Terms. Tricks like ‘Donot Click Here’, ‘Only Webmasters’ etc. may appear childish, but believe me for newcomers, its an experience they are always daring to take.

4. Promote your link on High Traffic Sites. (Only recommended for Professionals) – The key to this method’s success is only Viral Marketting, which only few are aware of. However Newbies can use their Facebook Profiles to promote the link. I asked my friends to join up a Fan Page, and found about 22 people willing in just 2 days.

5. However the most simple way is to post on relavent niche blogs or forums. People would be interested to view something similar – Like Stumbleupon, uses the same method of relavency of promoting people’s stuff.

Great techniques! I’ve always had trouble getting refferals so hopefully now it should be a piece of cake :) Now I’ll be bringing in the big bucks.

My blog which like yours has no ads-my choice-is being systematically picked up by other blogs which have only ripped-off content and lots of ads…How do I stop this?

I cannot actually navigate to your blog. Might give me a URL so that I can see better.
